Turfcats Make Final Preparations for Houma

Houma, LA - The Austin Turfcats indoor football team departed Austin, Texas and arrived in Houma, Louisiana on Saturday night to continue preparation for their Southern Indoor Football League matchup versus the Houma Conquerors at the Terrebonne Civic Center. The Turfcats will attempt to capture their first victory and also their first road victory in franchise history.
The team is going through team meetings and coaches are reviewing game plans this morning. Assistant Coach Butch Hadnot met for interviews with media and Turfcats Podcaster Michael DeLeon following the team meeting. The Turfcats will hold a team lunch then go to the arena for a walk through and make final adjustments for the Conquerors.
The match-up between Austin and Houma marks the first time the two franchises have faced each other.
The SIFL game will have updates available on turfcats.com today starting with the 5:00 kickoff.
