Austin - The Austin Turfcats indoor football team is seeking interns for the 2009 season, which begins in the spring.
The Austin Turfcats offer different internships within the field of sports and sports management.
The majority of these internships are unpaid and many require students receive credit but the experience and networking opportunities can be invaluable. This is one field where relevant experience and professional connections really count if you're hoping to get hired in the sports industry. By making your internship a success, you will be in a better position to turn your internship into a full time job.
Internships that are currently open include: Public Relations, Marketing, Video, Operations/Coaching, Strength & Conditioning, Football Operations, Ticket Sales, plus many more. Internships are available in a wide range of locations offering students many opportunities to complete an internship during fall, spring, or summer semester.
Interns are needed in sales and sponsor services, group ticket sales, media and public relations and operations.
