
Tulsa Shock Win Second Overall Pick in the 2014 WNBA Draft

Tulsa, Okla. - The Tulsa Shock were awarded the second overall pick in the 2014 WNBA draft next spring this afternoon at the draft lottery in Secaucus, New Jersey. The Connecticut Sun was awarded the first pick, while the San Antonio Silver Stars received the third. The New York Liberty was awarded the fourth.
The Tulsa Shock tied with the New York Liberty for the second best chance with 22.7 percent, of winning the draft the lottery and subsequent number one overall pick in the 2013 draft. The Connecticut Sun had the greatest chance of getting the number one pick with 44.2 percent. The San Antonio Silver Stars rounded out the lottery with a 10.4 percent chance of winning the first pick.
