Tulsa Shock Set Final Roster Entering 2015 Season

TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa Shock has finalized its 2015 roster with a total of 12 players. Head Coach Fred Williams enters his second season with the Shock, as do his assistants, Bridget Pettis and Ed Baldwin. The Shock has eight returning players from the 2014 season: Riquna Williams, Skylar Diggins, Courtney Paris, Odyssey Sims, Vicki Baugh, Tiffany Jackson-Jones, Jordan Hooper and Theresa Plaisance. Diggins, Sims and Paris were regular starters for the Shock in 2014.
Veterans Plenette Pierson and Karima Christmas return to Tulsa following seasons with New York and Indiana, respectively.
Tulsa's newest additions include first round draft pick Amanda Zahui B. from Minnesota, and second round draft pick Brianna Kiesel from Pittsburgh.
Glory Johnson-Griner decided to sit out the 2015 season due to her pregnancy.

The Shock opens the season on the road in Minnesota tomorrow night, June 5. The game will be televised in Oklahoma on all Cox channels. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. CST.
Tulsa's home opener is the following night, Saturday, June 6 vs. Chicago Sky at 7:00 p.m. at the BOK Center. Tickets are on sale at www.bokcenter.com, at the BOK Center Box Office from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or by calling 918-949-9700.
