Tulsa Shock News Release
Tulsa, Okla. - The Tulsa Shock released Courtney Paris this morning as Riquna Williams has been cleared to play. Williams was cleared to play yesterday after being injured in practice last Wednesday. The Shock was able to re-sign Courtney Paris last week due to an eight-player roster. The roster exception to sign Paris last week was granted by the league to the Shock because the team fell below the eight-player roster with Cambage, Jackson-Jones and Williams sidelined by injuries. Once Williams was cleared, Paris had to be released according to league guidelines.
