TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa Shock have partnered with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma to present the Time Out for Fitness (TOFF) Assembly Video Shoot Contest. The Time Out for Fitness Assembly program is a traveling educational show that visits schools and youth summer programs across the state teaching youth about the importance of healthy eating and staying fit.

Kids between the ages of four and 15 are encouraged to go online at http://bit.ly/1BsLcjk and tell mascots Volt the Fox and Blaze the Braggin' Blue Dragon what their favorite way to exercise is, and why. Submissions will be taken from June 22 through July 10, and video submissions are encouraged but not required to be entered.

"Our Time Out for Fitness program continues to provide a positive and healthy way for children in our region to understand the importance of staying healthy and fit," said Shock team President Steve Swetoha. "Our ability to align the program with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma makes perfect sense and we appreciate their expertise and support."

Four winners age four to nine and four winners age 10 to 15 will be selected from all the submissions to participate in the filming of the 2015 Time Out for Fitness DVD. The filming will take place on Tuesday, July 21 at the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa prior to the Tulsa Shock's home game versus the Washington Mystics at 11:30 a.m. Each winner also receives four tickets to the game and a BCBSOK gift bag.

Copies of the Time Out for Fitness DVD are produced and given to schools as a resource for teachers and administrators to continue to use each year.

"The Time Out for Fitness program provides a fun way to help children in our community understand the importance of health, wellness and being tobacco free. We are excited to partner with the Tulsa Shock in this unique program, which helps educate and build a healthier generation of Oklahomans," said Ted Haynes, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma President.
