Tulsa Shock and IHeart Media Announce Partnership

TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa Shock have renewed their radio partnership with iHeart Media (formerly Clear Channel) to broadcast every Shock home game this season. Additionally, 10 Rock-N-Shock Coaches Radio Shows presented by Osage Casino will be aired, adding four more shows for the 2015 season than last.

"We are excited to renew our partnership again this season with iHeart Media in the Tulsa market," said Shock team president Steve Swetoha. "Our partnership gives us the flexibility to utilize this medium to present our games in our local market for those fans unable to attend."

The Rock-N-Shock Coaches Radio Shows presented by Osage Casino will be broadcast live from a different location each show on AM 1430 The Buzz Sports Radio. The shows air on Monday nights from 6 - 6:30 p.m. Central Time on June 1, 8, and 15, July 13 and 27, August 10, 17, and 31, and September 7 and 14.

"We are happy to be able to partner with the Shock for the upcoming season and excited to be associated with the Play-by-Play as we push toward the playoffs in 2015," said Don King, veteran Tulsa sportscaster who enters the third season as voice of the Shock. "It is exciting that fans will be able to follow the team on the I Heart Radio app no matter where they are or what they are doing. We look forward to promoting the Shock across our seven station platform."

Locations for each Rock-N-Shock Coaches Radio Show presented by Osage Casino are to be determined, and will be listed on the Shock's website once each is finalized. The show features live interviews with Shock head coach Fred Williams, assistant coaches, and players discussing previous and upcoming games during the season, team events and appearances in the community, and other topics on the world of sports.
