Tulsa Shock News Release
TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa Shock released Mimi Mungedi (mun-GED-ee) from its roster today.
Mungedi, a 6-8 center out of the University of Nevada-Reno, was the Shock's third-round pick in the 2015 WNBA draft, the 25th overall selection. With Mungedi's release the Shock's current training camp roster is now at 15 players.
Tulsa's first game of the 2015 season is June 5 in Minnesota. The Shock's home-opener is the following night, June 6 vs. the Chicago Sky at 7 p.m. in the BOK Center. Tickets are on sale now at tulsashock.net or by calling 918-949-9700.
