Salary ranges for the top league in Canada range from a minimum of $1600 and can in some instances can go into the $4000-$5000 a month range for proven high level professional players. It in many ways competes with much of mid-level Europe but gives players and coaches an opportunity to work closer to home in a league that is very professional and due to strong fan bases, sponsors, and an association of strong owners has helped ensure that every player on every team has received every salary payment. With the economic turmoil that many countries abroad are currently faced with, it gives higher level pros an opportunity to live and work in a safe environment, closer to home and NBA scouts, where they can count on their business being handled in a prompt and professional manner. Many of the games are regionally telecast and all games are available to view online by teams around the World.
