Minnesota Axemen News Release
Bemidji, MN - The Bemidji Axemen are pleased to announce that wide receiver Nick Truesdell will take part in a series of workouts for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League.
Truesdell, hailing from Cincinnati, OH, has been a mainstay of the Axemen offense this season, being near the top of every receiving category. Through 11 weeks of the season, Truesdell has record 28 receptions for 402 yards and nine touchdowns. His biggest game came last week against the Green bay Blizzard, where we caught seven receptions for 100 yards and four touchdowns.
"Nick has done an exceptional job making the most of his opportunity here with us. He has obviously excelled on the field but he has been equally impressive off of it," Axemen head coach Robert Fuller stated. "He has been a very active member in the Bemidji community and has been a great teammate. He has earned this opportunity and we wish him the best."
Make sure to come out to the game this Saturday, May 10 as the Axemen take on the Tri-Citires Fever to give Nick a warm send-off pep rally! Tickets are available as low as $10 and can be bought at the Bob Lowth Ticket Pickup Window at the Sanford Center, both Lueken's locations, and online at Ticketmaster.com.
