The Maine Nordiques are honored to announce they tendered a 2-way leader For the 2020-21 season
Lewiston, ME. April 16, 2020- The Maine Nordiques are honored to announce that they have committed Left shot, Tristan Fasig for the 2020-2021 season. The tender signing of the 6'2, 185lbs Forward continues to increase the overall talent and character for the Nordiques.

Fasig, 18, served as team captain for the Taft School Rhinos. Tristan is An impact 2-way player and leader; Fasig concludes a two-year prep hockey career under the helm of Head Coach Ryan Shannon and his staff. Coach Shannon who played in Maine for the Portland Pirates, before becoming a Stanley Cup champion is also a Taft School alum and served as captain. During Fasig's time as a Rhino, he also played "AAA" hockey for Steve Novodor, who leads the Yale Jr. Bulldogs. Coach Novodor's support helped Tristan earn the respect and title of a true D1 prospect.
Assistant head coach and director of player development and wellness Matt Pinchevsky was asked about the newcomer. "Tristan is the type of player who is looking forward to being pushed as an athlete and willing to do what it takes to win in a Nordiques uniform." And added that he would bring about a strong addition to the team culture. The Sherman, Connecticut native is sure to make a huge contribution on both sides of the puck, and be a positive energy as a teammate and to Nordique Nation.
The Nordiques are proud to welcome Tristan Fasig to the organization and the #MaineLand.
