
Ethan Prout: the 2 Way Defender

Today's 1999 birth year player highlight features defenseman Ethan Prout.
Ethan was familiar with the NA umbrella before joining the Nords this season being an NAPHL alumnus playing for the Rocky Mountain RoughRiders 18U team. Ethan played alongside Casper Söderling this season at the blue line as a force defensively. Ethan and Casper started many games for the Nordiques this season and wasted no time getting his first point of the season as he assisted on an empty-net goal in the first-ever Nordiques game and win against the Generals.
Ethan Prout tallied 28 points in 53 games for the Nords this season with 5 goals including a game-winning goal against the Generals back in December, he also loved to pass the puck, 23 assist is what he finished with for the Nords.
The Boulder Colorado natives best game with the Nordiques came in a 6-5 win on December 21st when he racked up an impressive 4 assists!
Ethan Prout will be remembered as a great defensive defenseman with a nice helping of offense to go along with it.
