Trio of receivers signed to play Speed football
February 13, 2009 - American Indoor Football Association (AIFA) - Carolina Speed News Release
The Carolina Speed (Charlotte NC) of the AIFA have signed three receivers to bolster their high powered offence led by QB Ronnie Banks (South Florida) and RB T.A. McLendon (NC State).
Takory Burkett (Lane College), Terry Crenshaw (Hofstra) and Marc Huddleston (Purdue)have inked contracts with the Speed. Head Coach Ramon Robinson says 'These three receivers add, not only depth, but speed,quickness and toughness to our team. All of them have personalities that can make them stars in our league and each have abilities to make it to the next level'.
