
Trio of DC Bombers Selected as Prospect League All-Stars

The Prospect League All-Star Teams were named Wednesday, with a trio of Bombers selected. Outfielder Danny Poma was the lone position player to make it, as he is second in the league with 15 stolen bases. A pair of starting pitchers in Ryan Rizzi and Tomas Rodriguez also made the team. Rizzi has posted a 0.90 ERA, which ranks second in the entire league. Tomas Rodriguez has also been stellar so far this season, with a slightly higher 1.24 ERA, which puts him sixth among all Prospect League pitchers.
The All-Star game will take place on July 13th at Linda K. Epling Stadium in Beckley, West Virginia, the home of the West Virginia Miners. There will be a Home Run Derby preceding the game at 5:30, and the game will begin at 7:05 pm EDT.
