Post-game quotes -- OF Andrew McCutchen
(on Thursday night's game carrying over to Friday evening) "Yesterday's game (Thursday) definitely carried over to tonight (Friday). We were behind 6-0 heading into the ninth inning, and brought the potential winning run to the plate. That shows we have a team of battlers, and we don't give up. We gave it our all tonight and came away with the victory."
(on his third-inning home run) "The pitch was a fastball, and I was sitting on it. I put a good barrel on it, and was fortunate enough to hit it out of the park."
(on his two doubles) "I'm a fastball hitter, so those are the pitches I'm going to sit on. If it's in my area, I'm going to swing at it. Things worked out well tonight."
(on a crowd of nearly 10,000) "It's always good to get this type of support. My teammates and I play for the fans, and we're looking forward to having a lot of big crowds throughout the summer."
