Tri-City Diesel Falls in Thriller
March 26, 2004 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
Tri-City Diesel News Release
Kearney, Nebraska-The Tri-City Diesel played a very exciting game but came up a little short against a tough Wyoming team that won the battle with a score of 62-54. This match-up was a nail biter right down to the very end.
With less than a minute left in the game and a score of 62-54, the Diesel was in a great position to tie the game. Alex Niest threw a great pass to Jason Mitchell in the end zone for a touchdown but it was called back on a holding call. Two plays later The Wyoming Calvary intercepted a pass and ran the clock out to win the game.
The Tri-City Diesel will travel to Wichita Falls, TX to take on the Thunder on Saturday April, 3rd.
