
Tri-Cities Fever Sign Two

Tri-Cities Fever News Release
The Tri-Cities Fever would like to announce the signing of defensive lineman Bernard Smith (6'3" 250lbs) from Louisiana-Lafayette University and offensive lineman Jeremy "Drew" Bellamy (6'4" 295lbs) from Merrimack College.
Benard began his collegiate career with Northeast Mississippi Community College before transferring to Louisiana-Lafayette University for his final two years of eligibility. While at Louisiana-Lafayette Smith totaled 77 tackles and 8.5 sacks. In 2015 Benard Smith played six games for the New Orleans Voodoo logging five tackles and a fumble recovery. "Benard is a very physical, gutsy player who is a great leader and will be a strong addition to our defense" said Head Coach Ryan Lingenfelder.
Jeremy Bellamy began his collegiate career with Towson University before transferring to Merrimack College. Jeremy was a two year starter for Merrimack and also played in the National Bowl All-Star Game in Miami. His offensive line coach for the All-Star game was Tri-Cities Head Coach Ryan Lingenfelder. Head Coach Ryan Lingenfelder said "Jeremy has great technique and is a very physical, aggressive player. He is going to be a welcome addition to our offensive line."
