
Trepagnier Named Player of the Month

GREENVILLE, S.C., December 2, 2002 â Asheville Altitude guard Jeff Trepagnier has been named the National Basketball Development League Player of the Month for games in November.
Trepagnier averaged 21 points per game on .487 (58-119 FGA) shooting, along with 4.3 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game while leading the Altitude to a 5-3 record for the month. Asheville is currently in second place in the NBDL as December action begins, a half-game behind the Huntsville Flight.
Here is a look at Trepagnier's highlights from the month of November:
· Averaged 21 points through eight games and is currently second in the NBDL in scoring average.
· Scored in double-figures in seven of eight games, including 20+ points in six games.
· Leads the NBDL in steals with 3.1 per game, and total steals with 25.
· Leads the NBDL in 3-point field goal percentage at .576 (19-of-33) and 3-pointers made (19).
· Leads the NBDL in field goals made (58) and attempted (119).
· Leads NBDL in minutes played (33.9 per game).
· Tied for league lead for field goals made in a single game with 11 on Nov. 23 vs. Fayetteville.
· Scored a season-high 28 points along with five rebounds, four assists and four steals in a 76-70 win over Greenville on November 21.
· Finished the month by averaging 22.3 points and 3.6 steals over last three games
Other nominations for NBDL Player of the Month included Nate Johnson and Tang Hamilton of Columbus, Lonnie Harrell of Huntsville and Donald Hand of Greenville.
Trepagnier and the Altitude return to action Tuesday, playing host to Roanoke (2-6) at the Asheville Civic Center. Tip off is set for 7:15 p.m. EST. Other NBDL games on Tuesday include North Charleston at Columbus and Huntsville at Mobile.
