Several NBDL teams took time last week to lend a helping hand in their communities for Thanksgiving. Following are a few examples:

· Columbus Riverdragons players and the River Rage Dance Team teamed up to serve an early Thanksgiving dinner to 200 children ages 6-14 at the Boys and Girls Club of South Columbus Tuesday night.

· The North Charleston Lowgators teamed up with Crisis Ministries of Charleston to serve food to the needy on Thanksgiving night. Several players, Coach Doug Marty and front office members took part.

· Asheville Altitude players combined forces with Meals on Wheels to help those shut in during the Holiday to have a hot and hearty Thanksgiving meal.

Trepagnier Named Player of the Month

Asheville Altitude guard Jeff Trepagnier has been named NBDL Player of the Month for games played in November. In eight games Trepagnier averaged 21 points while leading the league in minutes played (33.9 pg), steals (3.1 pg), three point field goal percentage (.576) and three-pointers made (19).

Also Having a Big November

A pair of Columbus Riverdragons, Nate Johnson and Tang Hamilton, along with North Charleston's Sedric Webber and Damone Brown, also put up solid numbers in November. Johnson leads the NBDL in scoring at 22.4 points per game and scored 20 points or more in five games. Hamilton is second in the league in rebounding with 9.1 per game and leads the league in offensive rebounding at 4.3 per game. Webber averaged 19 points in eight games for North Charleston, while Brown came off the bench in seven of eight games to contribute 16.5 points per game.

10 Points or Less

With 30 of 200 games already in the books, NBDL teams are scoring over 80 points per game (81.1). The average margin of victory is 7.5 ppg; and 23 of 30 games have been decided by 10 points or less.

With just 15-percent of the season played, a handful of NBDL records have already been broken, some as a result of the first triple-overtime game in the league's history, a 111-109 North Charleston victory over Columbus on Nov. 20.
