Toros Look to Snap Winless Streak on Saturday as They Host Colorado Springs

EDINBURG, Texas - Rio Grande Valley FC (8-8-7; 31 pts.) will host Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC (10-7-7; 37 pts.) on Saturday, September 18 at 7:30 p.m. CST.
Most recently, the Toros traveled to Colorado Springs and ended up with a late 1-1 equalizer matchup. The overall record stands at 6-2-3 between both clubs and are 4-1-0 at H-E-B Park.
RGV FC: The Toros suffered a late equalizer last Saturday night with a man advantage, extending the winless streak to seven. With the draw, RGV FC dropped out of playoff contention but still have a chance to qualify. Frank Lopez managed to snug his first goal with the club with an Emilio Ycaza assist. Tyler Deric now has saved 39 shots and has conceded 21 goals. Collectively, the Toros have scored 32 goals and has conceded 32.
COS: Colorado ended in a scoreless draw against El Paso Locomotive in a midweek matchup. Hadji Barry is the USL's leading scorer with 21 goals and was contained by the Toros squad last Saturday night. Michee Ngalina leads the Colorado side with 42 created chances and eight assists. Sean Melvin has totaled 44 saves, conceding 25 goals. As a team, the Switchbacks have scored 50 goals while conceding 39.
