TUCSON, AZ - The Tucson Toros hosted an open tryout on Saturday as they were looking to add a local player to their 2009 roster. 161 prospective players did all that they could to impress the Toros coaching staff and on Wednesday, May 6th one local prospect will be introduced to Tucson as the newest Toro.
Toros owner Jay Zucker will be joined by Manager Tim Johnson on the mound at Hi Corbett field on Wednesday, as they will present a player contract to a local player that took part in Saturday's open tryout.
