Toronto Rock News Release
Toronto, ON - The 6-time NLL Champion Toronto Rock are pleased to announce the official launch of their iPhone app which is now available to be downloaded for free from Apple's App Store.
"We're extremely excited to offer up the iPhone app for our fans," said Rock President and Owner Jamie Dawick. "I have wanted to offer this up for a while and I hope our fans are just as excited about the app as I am."
The app currently gives fans access to league standings, Rock video content, player bios and social media feeds. There will be regular updates and many new and exciting features are set to be added in the very near future including live game updates and the bios of the Toronto Rock Cheerleaders.
What makes Toronto's app unique from any other team in the NLL is the fact that former Rock goaltender and the teams' current goaltending coach Pat Campbell is responsible for the design.
"When I can lend my expertise to the Rock to help grow the teams' reach, I'll be there every time," said Campbell. "This app will continuously have features added and tweaked. I would love to hear from the fans and get their suggestions on features they would like to see. It really is their app."
Keep your eye on the Toronto Rock app and download it now as this is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter of fan interaction.
