NASCAR Superstar and Talladega Winner Brian Vickers visits Tornado game November 3rd

As the Texas Tornado take on the Alaska Avalanche on Friday, November 3rd at 7:30pm at the Dr Pepper StarCenter in Frisco, the night will also be a very special occasion thanks to a very special guest. Brian Vickers, NEXTEL/NASCAR Superstar, Talladega champion, and driver of the #25 GMAC Chevrolet, will be in attendance on a special NASCAR Theme Night during the Tornado home game that evening. The Tornado will also be wearing special NASCAR jerseys that we be auctioned off of their backs following the game. It is just the first of two games during that weekend that the Texas Tornado will host Alaska. The Tornado return the next night on Saturday, November 4th against the Avalanche on Texas Tornado Team Picture Poster Night. Everyone in attendance will receive a 2006-07 Texas Tornado team photo poster. Tickets for the weekend games can be purchased Online, or fans can call the Tornado office at 972-335-9800. Now in his sophomore season on the NEXTEL Cup circuit, Brian Vickers has experienced anything but a sophomore slump. Currently 16th in the NEXTEL Cup standings, Vickers earned his first NEXTEL Cup win at Talladega during the UAW-Ford 500 on October 8, 2006. So far during the 2006 season, Vickers has led nine races and finished in the top 10 a total of ten times.
