Tornado to Participate in 'Nicky's Week' Fundraiser on Wednesday

The Texas Tornado are pleased to announce their participation in the 8th annual "Nicky's Week", a fundraiser benefitting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. On Wednesday, customers at the Plano location of RA Sushi Bar will have the opportunity to have their drinks made by Tornado head coach and general manager Tony Curtale as he takes part in "Celebrity Bartending" from 6:00-8:00 p.m. "Nicky's Week" is being held at all 25 different RA Sushi Bar locations across the country, with 100% of the proceeds of the sale of various menu items (listed below) to be donated to St. Jude.

"Nicky's Week was developed in memory of St. Jude patient Nicholas "Nicky" Mailliard, of Scottsdale, Ariz., who lost a long battle with brain cancer in February 2005 at the young age of 13. A nephew of one of RA Sushi's founders, Nicky held a special place in the hearts of RA Sushi associates throughout the organization. RA Sushi initiated the fundraiser to honor the memory of Nicky and to raise awareness and funds for St. Jude, where no child is ever turned away because of a family's inability to pay for medical treatments."
RA Sushi Bar in Plano is located at 7501 Lone Star Dr. Suite B-130. Below is the special Nicky's Week menu. Customers who order anything from this list will have 100% of those proceeds donated to St. Jude.
