P.E.I. Rocket News Release
High winds have forced the closure of the Confederation Bridge to high sided vehicles and tonight's game between the PEI Rocket and the Acadie-Bathurst Titan has been postponed. A make-up date has not been determined yet and will be announced when details have been finalized.
"The high winds came up suddenly and we really didn't have the time to mobilize enough vans to get the team here in time for the game. The only option was to postpone at this point", said GM of Business Operations, Kent Hudson. "We will work with the QMJHL and with the Titan to reschedule the game for a later date. The Rocket are sorry for any inconvenience and we appreciate your understanding", added Hudson.
All tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled game.
The Rocket next see action tomorrow afternoon as they travel to Bathurst to take on the Titan. The Rocket next see home action on Friday, November 5th when they host the Shawinigan Cataractes at 7:00 PM at the Charlottetown Civic Centre.
