Tonight's Game vs. Mississauga Rescheduled Until Saturday Afternoon
Published on February 20, 2015 under National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada)
Halifax Rainmen News Release
Due to the closure of Highway 104, connecting New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, tonight's scheduled game between the Halifax Rainmen and Mississauga Power has been rescheduled to Saturday, February 21st at 2pm.
Mississauga played Thursday evening in Saint John and have been able to cross the border Friday for their scheduled game at the Scotiabank Centre. With the highway not expected to be re-opened until early Saturday morning, rescheduling the game until 2pm Saturday afternoon was deemed the best course of action for both teams.
Tomorrow's game will still be the East Coast Lifestyle Game, with the first 1500 fans into the Scotiabank Centre receiving exclusive T-Shirts from East Coast Lifestyle.
The Halifax Rainmen would like to apologize to fans for the inconvenience and wish the Mississauga Power safe travels.
