
Tommy Tremblay Suspended Four Games

BOUCHERVILLE, Sunday, January 17, 2010 - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Disciplinary Prefect today announced that Tommy Tremblay of the Shawinigan Cataractes has been suspended for four games (automatic two-game suspension and an additional two games) for being the aggressor during an altercation in last Friday's game versus the Tigres. Moreover, the organization has been fined $500.
The decision was rendered after reviewing the videotape of the incident and after consulting all concerned parties.
In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the Disciplinary Prefect will not be available for further comment.
