Walleye Notes

- Past Week Performance! Toledo finished this past week with a 1-2-1 record, collecting three points. Wednesday night, the Walleye out-shot the Nailers 17-2 in the third period but lost 3-1 in Wheeling. The same story was in full effect on Friday as the Walleye lost 3-1 to the South Carolina Stingrays despite a 36-17 shot advantage. Saturday night, the Trenton Devils scored 2:34 into overtime to beat Toledo 5-4. Sunday afternoon, the Walleye rode a 17 save performance from Thomas McCollum to collect a 1-0 win.

- Shooting Gallery! Over the last five games, the Walleye have out-shot opponents 213-110 for an average of 42.6 - 22 per game. Toledo has a record of 2-2-1-0 in those contests. For the season, the Walleye are 15-17-3-0 when out-shooting the other team. Toledo has owned a decided shot advantage in home games all season (1,238-997).

- Attendance Time! Sunday's crowd of 5,509 pushed Toledo over the 200,000 mark (200,650) for the second straight season. Toledo is averaging 5,901 through 34 games this year.

- Iron Man! Goaltender Thomas McCollum has started 11 consecutive games for the Walleye. Toledo's record is 5-4-2 in those contests.

- Gametime! The Walleye play just three games this week and all three are against the 8th seed Cincinnati Cyclones. The first two will be played in Cincinnati. The Walleye are 15-14-3 on the road this year. Toledo is 7-4-1 this year against the Cyclones, with Cincinnati coming to Toledo on Sunday afternoon.

- Promotions! Tuesday night, Walleye forward Andy Bohmbach and defenseman Jason Lepine will join Head Coach Nick Vitucci on the Toledo Walleye Coaches Show 6-7pm at Pizza Papalis. Sunday is another Kid's Day with the Walleye. Visit www.toledowalleye.com for all upcoming promotions!
