
Todd Shell Resigns As Rattlers Coach

PHOENIX, Ariz. - Sept. 1, 2005 - The Arizona Rattlers announced today that they have accepted the resignation of head coach Todd Shell. Shell informed club officials Wednesday that he intended to resign.
"I have decided that it is in the best interest of the Rattlers and my family to step down as head coach, said Shell.
"We wish Todd the best as he works through these issues. Todd's well being is first and foremost with his friends and colleagues at the Rattlers organization," said Rattlers Sr. Vice President and General Manager Gene Nudo, who added that the Rattlers will name a replacement soon. "We have several options that are being explored and we will make an announcement as soon as a final decision has been reached."
