2004 Kelly Cup Playoffs Northern Division Finals (Best-of-Five Series)
Reading Leads 1-0

No. 4 Reading Royals (37-25-10) at No. 3 Peoria Rivermen (45-18-9) 7:00 CT

* Judd Medak scored the overtime game-winning goal and Cody Rudkowsky made 32 saves in Reading's 2-1 overtime win at Peoria in Game 1 on Saturday.
* Reading's David Masse (3g-4a) and Judd Medak (2g-4a) each have a five-game point streak, dating back to April 6.
* Rivermen's Mike Valley is 2-1 and leads the ECHL in the postseason with a 1.18 goals against average and a .965 save percentage.
* Reading's Cody Rudkowsky leads the Kelly Cup Playoffs with five wins and ranks fifth with a 1.72 goals against average.
* Peoria's Adam Edinger is tied for the Kelly Cup Playoffs lead with two game-winning goals and has six points (2g-4a) in his last five games.
* Royals' rookie David Masse leads the Kelly Cup Playoffs with four power-play goals, seven power-play points (4g-3a) and is tied for the postseason lead with two game-winning goals.
* Rivermen's Garett Cameron is tied for eighth among rookies in the postseason with four points (2g-2a).
* Royals' Kent Davyduke is tied for second in the postseason with six assists and is tied for seventh with seven points.
* Peoria upset No. 2 Seed Atlantic City, three games to one, in the Northern Division Semifinals.
* Reading upset No. 1 Seed Wheeling, three games to two, in the Northern Division Semifinals.
* Peoria won back-to-back 2-1 overtime games against No. 2 Seed and defending Kelly Cup Champion Atlantic City on April 12 and 13.
* Reading shut out No. 1 Seed Wheeling 4-0 in Game 5 on Wednesday and won twice at Wheeling, which had a 28-5-3 home record in the regular season.
* Peoria has made the postseason in each of its eight seasons and won the Kelly Cup in 2000.
* No. 5 Seed Reading upset No. 4 Seed Johnstown 2-1 in Wild Card Game on April 5.
* Reading was 1-0-1 at home and 3-2-1 overall against the Rivermen during the 2003-04 regular season.
