
Tobs WebPass Broadcaster to Finish Season with Kinston Indians

The Wilson Tobs are happy to announce that former Tobs Broadcast and Media Relations Intern Tim O'Brien will head to Kinston, North Carolina on Monday August 8th to become the Broadcast Assistant with the Class - A Advanced affiliate of the Cleveland Indians.
O'Brien, who hails from Kirtland, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland joined the Tobs at the beginning of the 2011 baseball season.
"I am thankful that the Wilson Tobs gave me the opportunity to advance my career," said O'Brien. "They are a classy organization and I thank them and the Coastal Plain League very much. I will be moving on to Kinston now that the Wilson season is over. Kinston had an opening, and current Kinston GM (and former Tobs GM) Ben Jones offered me the position after I attended the K-Tribe game on Wednesday afternoon, and talked with him about the position."
"I am excited for the opportunity to work in affiliated baseball especially in the Cleveland organization. The world of baseball is great, and I am just happy to be in Kinston."
O'Brien, who is 24 years old, also interned for the Lake County Captains in Eastlake, Ohio, the Low Class - A Affiliate of the Cleveland Indians for two and a half summers.
