Orlando Titans News Release
Jordan Hall scored four goals and Casey Powell added three as the Orlando Titans rolled to a 13-8 win over Rochester. The win lifted the Titans to 2-1 on the season and gave them sole possession of second place in the Eastern Division, Rochester fell to 2-2.
"It was good to get back on track after last week," head coach Ed Comeau said. "I thought our offense played well and our defense certainly picked it up."
As was the case in the first game, Orlando's defense played a great first half, limiting Rochester to just two goals as they built a 7-2 lead.
Rochester would cut the lead to 7-5 in the third, but the Titans erupted for three quick goals and did not look back. In addition to Hall and Powell, Ryan Boyle had a big night with two goals and five assists. Matt Vinc was solid in goal, stopping 30 of 38 rochester shots.
