Titans Vow to Make It "A Christmas to Remember"

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA : Think of how fortunate we all are to have presents under the tree this holiday. Reality is that there are families throughout eastern Iowa who will not have that same opportunity this holiday season. For the 3 rd straight year the Titans, along with Clear Channel of Cedar Rapids, Macaroni Kid Cedar Rapids, Planet X, and Cedar Valley World Travel will host "A Christmas to Remember" community holiday party & toy drive. The goal of the event is help ensure no child goes without a present this holiday season. The event will take place on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 6:30 p.m-10:00 p.m and will be held at the Clarion Hotel at 525 33 rd Avenue Southwest in Cedar Rapids.
The event is open to the public and admission is free. Those attending are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for families in need throughout Linn County. For the 2nd straight year the Titans have teamed up with Big Brothers/Big Sisters to be the recipient partner for the event. The party will feature complimentary hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, music, performance from Titan Dolls & Jr Dolls, door prizes, and autographs from Titans players & coaches. Santa is also expected to make an appearance. Following the event Titans players and staff will hand-deliver toys collected to local Big Brother/Big Sister families struggling to make ends meet during this holiday season.
