CEDAR RAPIDS, IA: The Titans announced today that team has acquired veteran wide receiver Bryan Pray from the Green Bay Blizzard in exchange for future considerations.
The 5'7, 168 lbs. Pray is entering his fourth season in the Indoor Football League compiling 131 receptions, 2,131 yards, and 44 touchdowns during his indoor career. Last season with the Blizzard he had 45 receptions for 704 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Pray completed his college career at Pittsburgh State University where he excelled in football and track & field. He was a track and field All-American and the MIAA champion in the 60M. In 2005 he earned honorable mention All-MIAA honors by totaling 40 catches for 650 yards and 5 TDs. In his 2006 senior season he blew away the previous year's numbers by posting another 40 receptions for 930 yards and 8 TDs, which earned him 2nd-team All-MIAA honors. He was also named 1st-team southwest region, Don Hanzen 2nd-team All-American, and Gazette 3rd-team All-American.
In addition to Pray, the Titans also announced the signings of WR Jamal Rogers, OL Bobby Young Jr, and DL Akeem Ward.
2013 Season Ticket Pickup Party Details Announced
Indoor professional football returns to the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena in February and next Thursday, January 10th, Titans season ticket holders have an opportunity to get pumped up for the 2013 season and get their season tickets in hand.
All current season ticket holders are invited to our Season Ticket Pick Up Party at CR Gatherings, located at 905 3rd St SE, on Thursday, January 10th from 7pm - 10pm. Titan's fans will have an opportunity to meet players, Dolls Dance Team members, coaches, and front office staff. All paid season tickets will be available for pick up that night.
There will also be light appetizers and a cash bar. The Titans Dolls Dance Team will perform and Titan's fans will get first look at new Titan's Merchandise including new Titan's blue tie-dye t-shirts and ladies bling short and long sleeved shirts. Also, get your 2013 Titan's Dolls Calendar with an opportunity to get autographs from the Dolls that night!
