Titans to Host Community Holiday Party Thursday Night

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA : The Titans have a goal this holiday season and that's to ensure no child goes without a present under their Christmas tree this Christmas. The team is asking for the community's help to accomplish that goal as the team in partnership with
Macaroni Kid Cedar Rapids, Midwest Athletic Club, Carousel Nissan, Built By Pros, and Cedar Valley World Travel host "A Christmas to Remember" community holiday party & toy drive. This will mark the events 4th year. This year's event will take place this Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 6:00 p.m-8:30 p.m and will be held at the Mariott Hotel on Collins Road in Cedar Rapids.
The event is open to the public and admission is free. Those attending are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for families in need throughout Linn County. For the 3rd straight year the Titans have teamed up with Big Brothers/Big Sisters to be the recipient partner for the event. The party will feature complimentary hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, music, performance from Titan Dolls & Jr Dolls, door prizes, and autographs from Titans players & coaches. Santa is also expected to make an appearance. Following the event Titans players and staff will hand-deliver toys collected to local Big Brother/Big Sister families struggling to make ends meet during this holiday season.

The Titans kick off their 4 th season in the IFL Friday, February 13 th at Mediacom Field inside the US Cellular Center. Season tickets for the 2015 season are now available. A free parking pass courtesy of Park Cedar Rapids is included in all season ticket packages.
