
Titans Sign Reigning Indoor Football League MVP Quarterback

Cedar Rapids, IA: Prior to last season the Titans had reached the Indoor Football League United Conference Championship game the previous four seasons. The team took a major step in getting back to the it's winning ways announcing the signing of quarterback Charles McCullum.
McCullum, is the Indoor Football League's reigning IFL MVP earning that honor both last season and also in 2016.
Titans fans are very familiar with McCullum as he guided the team to the 2013 United Conference Championship. He threw 30 touchdowns and completed 109 of 190 passes in 10 games prior to going down with a season ending injury that season.
The 6'2 205lb Stillman College alum spent the past two seasons with the Wichita Falls Nighthawks. In 2017 he led the IFL in completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns as he led the Nighthawks to a 12-4 record. McCullum finished his season completing 311 of 472 passes for 3,049 yards and and 75 touchdowns. He also added 276 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns.
During the season, McCullum inched his way up the IFL record book. McCullum set a new IFL single season record with his 311 passing completions. Additionally, McCullum now ranks second only to IFL Hall of Fame Chris Dixon in career passing yards (11,942) and career passing touchdowns (263).His 276 rushing yards also move him to fourth all-time with 2,267.
Combined In his back to back MVP seasons he completed 584 of 892 passes, threw for 6008 yards, had 131 touchdown passes, and added 23 touchdowns on the ground.
The Titans will begin the team's 7th Indoor Football League season this February at the U.S. Cellular Center. The team's 2018 schedule will be released in the coming weeks. The team is currently contacting 2017 season tickets holders to secure their 2017 seats for the 2018 season.
