Titans Set to Host Monday Night Football

CEDAR RAPIDS: Monday Night Football is coming to the U.S. Cellular Center Monday night as the Titans host the Nebraska Danger. Kickoff from the U.S. Cellular Center is slated for 7:05pm.

Cedar Rapids enters the game with a 1-1 record and looks to get back in the win column coming off of a 70-33 loss to the Sioux Falls Storm this past Monday night. In that game Cedar Rapids quarterback Jake Medlock completed 23 of 40 passes for 184 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also rushed for 14 yards on 7 carries and added a rushing touchdown. The Titans defense was led by Rodney Barnes who finished the night with 10 tackles.

The Danger enters the game with a 2-0 record coming off a 59-23 win over the Green Bay Blizzard last weekend. Nebraska is defensively led by former Titans defensive lineman Xzavie Jackson. Jackson was named the league's defensive player of the week for his performance against Green Bay. He had 2 sacks and a defensive touchdown. His 2nd sack of the game was his 80th sack of his IFL career. Offensively the Danger are led by quarterback Damien Fleming who also surpassed 3000 career passing yards in that game as well. The Danger is coached by Mark Stoute who was the Titans coach from 2013-2016.

Monday night's game is Kids In Free Night. All kids 14 & under are admitted free into the game when accompanied by an adult who purchases a ticket for the game. The offer is available in person at the U.S. Cellular Center box office only. $2 hot dogs, $2 sodas, and $2 draft beers will be available on the concourse before the game from 6:05-7:05pm. Tickets can be purchased at the U.S. Cellular Center box office or online at ticketmaster.com.
