Cedar Rapids, IA - Xzavie Jackson, the first player to sign with the Cedar Rapids Titans, will be donning the blue and black once more as the IFL's career sacks leader will suit up for his eighth season in 2016.
Jackson (6'3", 295 lbs.) returns for his fifth season with the Titans and his ninth in the Indoor Football League. Through four seasons with the Titans, Jackson has amassed 150 tackles, 35 sacks, 16 pass breakups, and eight forced fumbles.
Through seven seasons in the Indoor Football League, Jackson has appeared in 85 games, tallying 274 tackles, 58 sacks, 30 pass breakups, 11 forced fumbles, a pair of fumble recoveries, and one interception. Jackson's 58 sacks put him at the top of the IFL's All-Time Sacks Leader list.
Prior to his time in Cedar Rapids, Jackson spent two seasons with the La Crosse Spartans. For his rookie season in 2009, Jackson was signed to the IFL runner-up RiverCity Rage.
Fans will have their first opportunity in 2016 to see Xzavie back in action when the Titans host the Iowa Barnstormers in the 2016 Home Opener this Friday, February 12th at 7:05pm. The first 500 fans in attendance receive a free BJ Lowery t-shirt jersey and a coupon good for a free sushi roll courtesy of Osaka Restaurnt. Tickets for the home opener are on sale now at the US Cellular Center box office.
All 2016 Titans home games take place at Mediacom Field inside the US Cellular Center in downtown Cedar Rapids. Season tickets for the 2016 season are now available.
