Orlando Titans News Release
ORLANDO, Fla. (November 2, 2009) -- With the historic season opener just 65 days away, the activity level at the Orlando Titans office has been at a frantic pace as the staff members prepare for the 2010 season. Here is this month's edition of the Orlando Titans Update:
ISN'T SHE LOVELY? An Oct. 25 tryout, followed by a series of interviews the following week, resulted in the selection of the 2010 Orlando Titans Dance Team. Team Director Danielle Barnhart was pleased with the process, which saw close to 50 qualified dancers audition for one of the 16 spots available. "We had a lot of outstanding dancers at our open tryout and pairing them down to a final team was difficult," Barnhart said. "We now we have a beautiful and talented dance team that I know will positively represent the Titans both on and off the field." Bios and photos of the dance team will be available shortly on www.orlandotitans.com.
FIVE IN THE FOLD Orlando Titans head coach Ed Comeau announced last week the signing of five players to contracts for the 2010 season. NLL Draft Picks Ryan McCafferty (6th round) and Ryan Learn (5th round), along with free agents Angus Dineley, Chet Koneczny and Dan Cocchi all signed with the Titans.
