Turn It Around T-Shirts Available

As the Danbury Whalers continue their Movember Awareness Month, the team has announced that at all remaining November home games fans will have a chance to have their own blue & green mustache painted on their face to show support and create awareness towards men's health issues.

In addition the team has also created a Movember "Turn It Around" t-shirt, where a portion of the proceeds are donated. The shirt idea was created was Danbury Whalers players Lynn Beedle & Nick Niedert as well as Director of Fundraising, Tricia Coe. The theme is let's turn it around on cancer and when you turn the Danbury Whalers logo around the whale tail looks like a mustache.

The idea was taken from a thought and put to a shirt by Dom Alessandro at A/W Design in Manhattan. Dom is also the creator of the Danbury Whalers logo. Check out www.a-wdesign.com.

The Turn It Around shirts will be available at the game on Wednesday. They can also be ordered through hsorcher@thedanburywhalers.com or calling 973-713-7547.

Cost of the shirts are $20.
