
Timbers to Host Second Leg of Western Conference Semifinals

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers will play their home leg of the Western Conference Semifinals, a two-game, aggregate-goal series, on Thursday, Nov. 7, at JELD-WEN Field; kickoff is set for 8 p.m. (Pacific) and will be nationally televised on NBC Sports Network.
A limited number of single-game tickets for the Nov. 7 home playoff match go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. (Pacific) through the JELD-WEN Field box office and online at www.portlandtimbers.com. Approximately 2,000 tickets remain available, following playoff package sales, for the Timbers first-ever MLS home playoff match.
The No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, the Timbers will face either No. 4 Seattle Sounders FC or No. 5 Colorado Rapids in the Western Conference Semifinals. Portland will play the first leg of the conference semifinals on the road Saturday at 7 p.m. (Pacific) on NBC Sports Network.
Sounders FC and the Rapids meet in the knockout game Wednesday night in Seattle to determine which will play the Timbers in the Western Conference Semifinals.
