Amarillo Dusters Wide Receiver Tim Wilkins will remain hospitalized at Christus Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi for the next few days. As updates become available, they will be posted on the team website.
Wilkins suffered fractured C-7 vertebra in his neck while diving for a ball during the Dusters game against the Corpus Christi Sharks on Saturday night. Wilkins was transported to the hospital via ambulance.
He has regained feeling in all of his extremities and is not in life-threatening danger.
