
Tim Ellis named PBL Player of the Week

The Premier Basketball League is pleased to announce that Tim Ellis of the Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry has been named Player of the Week for the week ending January 10, 2010.
Ellis, a 6'5" 205-pound forward from Kansas State, was the high scorer in the Cavalry's two wins this weekend. In a January 8, 2010 win over the Maryland GreenHawks, Ellis scored 20 points, including a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line; he also had eight rebounds on the night. On Sunday night, in a victory over the Manchester Millrats, Ellis notched 23 points, leading the Cavalry in scoring on both nights.
This is the first Cavalry player to receive Player of the Week honors in the PBL.
