NORWICH-The Connecticut Tigers return home to start an eight-game home stand this Wednesday, July 11 with a pair of three-game series against the Brooklyn Cyclones (Mets) and Auburn Doubledays (Nationals) and a two-game series against the Vermont Lake Monsters (A's).
The Tigers start a three-game series with the Brooklyn Cyclones on Wednesday, July 11 at 7:05 p.m. It's a "Grand Slam Family Four Pack Wednesday" with four reserved seats, four hot dogs, four sodas and a box of popcorn all for 40 dollars. The Tigers will also host a Price Chopper Wednesday Ticket Offer with a special buy one; get one ticket offer for fans that use their Price Chopper Advantage Card. The offers cannot be combined.
The series continues on Thursday, July 12 for a special "Happy Hour" at the Hole in the Wall Bar down the first base side. The gates will open an hour early at 5:00 p.m. with live music and drink specials throughout the night.
On Friday, July 13 the series wraps up at 7:05 p.m. The Tigers will have a special fireworks show after the game. There will also be a special appearance by Connecticut native and former American Idol Contestant Gabi Carrubba, who will sing the National Anthem and be available to meet fans on behalf of the Connecticut Sports Foundation. Fans that are interested in meeting Gabi must purchase a bracelet for one dollar, which will go directly to the fight against Cancer.
The Tigers welcome in the Auburn Doubledays, the NYPL affiliate of the Washington Nationals for the start of a three-game series on Saturday, July 14 at 7:05 p.m. The first 1,000 fans through the gates Saturday will receive an AT+T Yellow Pages Aluminum Sports Bottle.
On Sunday afternoon at 4:05 p.m, the series continues with another "Sunday Funday.
"All kids in attendance will run the bases after the game and will receive a coupon for Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. There will also be a post-game catch on the field after the game for all fans sponsored by Dick's Sporting Goods. The kids participating in the catch on the field will receive a baseball from Dick's Sporting Goods.
The series continues on Monday night at 7:05 p.m. with "Kid's Eat Free Mondays." All kids 12 and under will get a coupon for a hot dog, bag of chips, bottle of water and an apple! It's all sponsored by The Day Newspaper and U.S. Foods, the official food service provider of the Tigers! The Tigers will also host "Social Media Monday" presented by Xtra Mart Convenience Stores. The Tigers start a brief two-game series with the Vermont Lake Monsters, the NYPL affiliate of the Oakland A's, on Tuesday, July 17 at 7:05 p.m. It's a "Kayem Dollar Dog Night" for all fans. All hot dogs are just one dollar at every Tuesday home game! The promotion is presented by Kayem Hot Dogs, the official hot dog of the Connecticut Tigers!
On Wednesday morning at 11:05 a.m. the Tigers will present their annual Camp Day with a special 11:05 a.m. start. There will be "Grand Slam Family Four Pack" and Price Chopper Wednesday Ticket Offer for all fans in attendance so plan on "playing hookey" and spending an afternoon with us at Dodd Stadium!
