South Bend Silver Hawks News Release


Individual game tickets for the 2004 Silver Hawks regular season go on sale this Monday, March 22nd at 9:00am. Silver Hawks fans will be able to purchase tickets for all 70 home games on an individual basis at the Coveleski Stadium box office or by calling 574.235.9988. Highlights of the 2004 season include the home opener on Thursday, April 8th and the annual fireworks shows nightly from July 2nd - 5th.

Kids Club Looking For New Members

Attention kids age 14 and under, here's your chance to join the coolest club in town! Become an official member of the Silver Hawks kids club for just $10.00 and you'll receive: Two game tickets to a Silver Hawks game each month. Official Kids Club membership card. An autographed picture of Swoop. Official Kids Club T-Shirt. An invitation to monthly events during the off-season. Spring Training Update

Several former South Bend Silver Hawks have played key roles for the Arizona Diamondbacks this spring. Through 12 games the Diamondbacks hold a 6-6 record, but the big story has been the hitting of a couple of former Silver Hawks. Chad Tracy leads all Arizona hitters with a .407 average this spring. Not far behind is Jerry Gil, last season's starting shortstop in South Bend. Gil is off to a great start hitting .368 through 11 games with the big club. Pops at the Cove Scheduled for August 28th

Since 1990, Pops at the Cove has been a summertime favorite at Coveleski Stadium. Join the South Bend Symphony Orchestra as Barnes & Thornburg presents the 15th annual Pops at the Cove on Saturday, August 28, 2004 sponsored by Crowe and WNDU. The night features pre-concert entertainment by the Robert Henry Orchestra and will conclude with a fireworks extravaganza. Ticket prices are $17.00 for box seats and $15.00 for reserved seats. Tables with seating for 8 are also available for $350.00. Tickets are available at the Coveleski Stadium box office or by calling 574.235.9988.
