Tickets Nearly Gone for Season Finale
July 6, 2011 - Arena Football League (AFL)
Georgia Force News Release
Duluth, GA (July 6, 2011) - With four days to go before the Force's final home game of 2011, just under 1,000 tickets remain for the Saturday night showdown with the Chicago Rush at The Arena at Gwinnett Center.
"We've been overwhelmed, frankly," said Force president Cory Howerton. "Some of the most passionate Arena Football fans in the country are here in Gwinnett County, and they'll have a chance to show it one more time before the playoffs."
Potentially, Saturday night's game could be a farewell to the 2011 Force, as well as a thank you for what has been an incredibly thrilling season. The Force, entering play at 9-6, do not have a chance of playing another game at The Arena until the second round of the playoffs. They currently sit in the third seed in the American Conference, the better of two wild card slots. Jacksonville has already clinched the division title.
