
Soul to Hold 'Military Appreciation Night'

PHILADELPHIA (July 6, 2011)- The Philadelphia Soul (5-11) will dedicate this Friday's game to active military members and veterans with 'Military Appreciation Night' as they take on the Cleveland Gladiators (9-6) at 8 p.m. on the NFL Network.). In-game recognition will take place for all military personnel in attendance, military currently serving, and fallen heroes.
"We want to use this night to personally thank all of the men and women who have previously or currently serve our country," said Soul VP/COO John Adams. "We would like to pay our respects to the men and women that protect our great nation and allow us to play a game Americans have come to love.""It the least we can do to pay our respects to those who put their lives on the line for the sake of our safety."
All active and veteran military personnel will receive free entry when they present their military ID at the box office. Military family and friends are also encouraged to purchase their tickets online where five dollars from every ten-dollar ticket sold will benefit the Battleship New Jersey with use of the code "SOULBATTLESHIPNJ".
Friday's game will be the Soul's second-to-last home game of the season so get your tickets today!
