Vermont Frost Heaves News Release
It's been just a year since we publicly broached the idea of starting a pro basketball team in Vermont, and incredibly, here we are: with a team in place for a 36-game schedule that tips off in a couple of weeks. If you're at all within driving distance and haven't already done so, we hope you'll consider purchasing one of our season-ticket plans, which are available online at www.vermontfrostheaves.com/tickets.
Even if you don't live in Vermont, you can still support our efforts to bring fan-friendly, affordable pro basketball to the state's city centers. We've established our Jack Frost Seats program, by which anyone may purchase unreserved season tickets for use by deserving kids. (Like Jack Nicholson, those kids will sit in the front row-hence the name.) Local Ys, rec departments and Boys & Girls Clubs will help us determine who gets the seats, and we'll be sure to give the kids and their patrons-that could be you!-a shout-out over the p.a. system.
Jack Frost Seats are sold in tandem, for one child and one adult chaperone. If you'd like to participate, please go online and order two unreserved grandstand season tickets, one each for a child and an adult. Then e-mail us at info@vermontfrostheaves.com to let us know that you'd like your tickets dedicated to that purpose. Again, that Web address is:

If you're getting this e-mail, you've already shown support for the Frost Heaves that goes above and beyond. Please accept our heartfelt thanks. Coach Voigt and the entire organization look forward to seeing you at our home openers, Nov. 16 in Barre and Nov. 18 in Burlington!
Sincerely,
Alexander Wolff
President and General Manager
P.S.-If you've already ordered season tickets, please check your mailbox. They'll be sent out shortly.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
