Bluefield, WV - The Appalachian League contest between the Greeneville Astros (22-19) and Bluefield Blue Jays (18-24) was cancelled on Thursday due to rain. The game will not be rescheduled or made up. The Astros conclude their season series with a 3-2 record against the Blue Jays.
The Astros will begin a three-game split series against the Bristol Pirates with home games on Friday, August 7th and Saturday, August 8th at Pioneer Park in Greeneville. Friday's game has a scheduled start time of 7:00pm while Saturday's game will begin at 6:00pm.
