
Thunder World Cup Watch parties organized

ST. PAUL, Minn. (Wednesday, June 7, 2006)- The Minnesota Thunder organization is partnering with Comcast, ESPN and the Onion newspaper to bring fans World Cup Watch parties at Billy's on Grand throughout the 2006 tournament beginning this Friday.
ESPN, ESPN2, and ABC are all available through Comcast cable. For more information about Comcast cable, visit www.comcast.com.
At all watch parties, the Thunder will be giving away prize packs, holding raffle drawings and, when available, will have Minnesota Thunder and Minnesota Lightning players in attendance.
The World Cup Watch party host is Billy's located at 857 Grand Avenue in St. Paul, where games will be shown on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC in HD-TV, when available. There will be food available for order and drink specials offered.

Monday, June 12 U.S. vs. Germany 11 a.m.
Tuesday, June 13 Brazil vs. Croatia 2 p.m.
Thursday, June 15 England vs. Trinidad & Tobago 11 a.m.
Saturday, June 17 U.S. vs. Italy 2 p.m.
Wednesday, June 21 Argentina vs. Netherlands 2 p.m.
Saturday, June 24 Round of 16 1st place Group C vs. 2nd place Group D 2 p.m.
Tuesday, June 27 Round of 16 1st place Group F vs. 2nd place Group E 10 a.m.
Saturday, July 1 Quarterfinal game 2 p.m.
Friday, July 9 Final 1 p.m.
